Alcohol and Chemical Abuse
Comprehensive Treatment Options
The Alcohol and Chemical Treatment Center (ACT) at Ogden Regional Medical Center delivers a full range of treatment options for substance abuse. We further support people recovering in our program by encouraging their families to participate throughout the treatment process.
Individual Intake and Assessment
Anyone considering treatment for substance addiction will take part in an in-depth interview process with a skilled professional.
Intervention
Services are available to assist families in helping the dependent person see and accept the need for treatment.
Detoxification
Individuals needing assistance with withdrawal symptoms may require 24-hour inpatient medical support. Nurses and physicians are available at all times to assist with the detoxification process.
Treatment Options
- Inpatient treatment is available for patients who need medical stabilization following detoxification, or who require a more intensive level of care.
- Day treatment is available for patients who are able to return to their homes in the evenings.

Intensive outpatient treatment is an eight-week program appropriate for individuals who are able to maintain their commitments to work and family.
