Joseph Graham, M.D. is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon practicing at MountainStar Cardiovascular Surgery in Ogden, Utah. He specializes in all forms of heart surgery, including the latest minimally invasive techniques. He routinely accomplishes minimally invasive aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair, and coronary artery bypass grafting, along with endovascular surgical procedures.
Dr. Graham is currently the only cardiothoracic surgeon in Utah using state-of-the-art robotic technology for cardiovascular procedures. This technology enables heart surgeries that are significantly less invasive and more precise. As a result, patients experience less trauma, reduced pain and minimal scarring.
Additionally, he was instrumental in restarting the heart program at Ogden Regional Medical Center, a program that currently performs 150-200 heart surgeries per year.
Dr. Graham graduated from St. Louis University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He continued his education at the St. Louis University School of Medicine where he earned his medical degree. He completed a general surgery residency at University of Illinois School of Medicine and his cardiothoracic residency training at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University in North Carolina.
