Providing Families With Answers and Support
Established in 1977, the Val A. Browning Cancer Treatment Center is northern Utah's longest-running, comprehensive resource for cancer patients and their families. It is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m. If you have questions or to schedule an appointment, please call 801-479-2570.
If you have been diagnosed with cancer, it's natural to feel concerned and even a bit frightened. You probably have many questions concerning treatment choices and decisions. Most likely, you find yourself constantly thinking, "How am I going to cope with side effects and when will I feel better again," followed often by "What can I do to prevent the cancer from returning."
So, where do you turn for answers, treatment, support and help? If you live in Weber County, you can depend on the Val A. Browning Cancer Treatment Center at Ogden Regional Medical Center. Our knowledgeable and experienced caregivers are here for you, your family and supportive friends - when you need us most.
We offer comprehensive, high-quality cancer treatments, whether you need radiation therapy, surgery and/or chemotherapy. Our well-trained specialists use state-of-the-art digital imaging equipment and advanced technologies to deliver accurate, precise diagnosis and treatments.
At this Ogden hospital, compassionate care for cancer patients goes far beyond clinical diagnosis and treatment. We don't just target the cancer; we are dedicated to caring for the patient as a human being. Through support groups, dedicated time with therapists and pastoral caregivers, and a hug whenever you need one, we do whatever we can to help you medically, emotionally and spiritually.
To further enhance our patient care, Ogden Regional Medical Center partnered with the American Cancer Society to establish the first official Cancer Resource Center in Utah. Learn more here about this valuable resource in Ogden.
