To talk with someone on our NICU team, call (801) 479-2560.
Ask the mothers whose baby is born too early or is seriously ill; they'll tell you how much they depended on the experienced caregivers in our Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). In fact, a strong bond often develops between our team, new mothers and their babies that is evident years later when the now toddlers are brought in for a visit.
Neonatologists are doctors who specialize in caring for infants who are born too early or with medical complications. It is reassuring to know that should your newborn need specialized care, our board-certified neonatology physicians are available 24 hours a day.
Our neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioner and NICU staff will welcome you whenever you come to visit your baby - or babies! We will gladly answer your questions and discuss your baby's plan of care with you and your physician.
The State of Utah has designated the 18-bed NICU at Ogden Regional Medical Center as a Level III Unit. That means we have the expertise and state-of-the art technology to deliver excellent care to newborns as young as 22 weeks gestation age - right here in Weber County.
