Ronald McDonald Family Room Offers Healing For Families
Ogden Regional Medical Center is home to the first Ronald McDonald Family Room™ in Utah. This 1,110-foot family room is a calm and comfortable place for families of children hospitalized at Ogden Regional Medical Center to recharge while remaining close to their child.
The Family Room offers a homelike atmosphere and includes a private meeting room, bathroom with a shower, kitchen and laundry facility. An entertainment center and library helps young parents to keep other children with them during a hospital stay. The room is furnished with Internet access and a private telephone to keep extended family members up to date.
Ogden Regional Medical Center and the Ronald McDonald House collaborated to create this quiet, nurturing place for the families of young patients. Its restful environment and amenities are provided to families free of charge.
